Wear accessories that are in scale with your body. Tiny purses, earrings, watches etc. make a larger body look even bigger because of the contrast in size.

Minimize your flaws and maximize your assets. If you have a beautiful face, draw attention to it by wearing big, beautiful earrings or a great looking, big choker necklace. If you have beautiful hands or nails, draw attention to them with big bracelets or a big watch.

Glasses
Round frames make round faces look rounder. Try angular, medium sized frames.

Hats
Proportion is important. Large women should not wear really small hats. Make sure your hat does not cause your neck to disappear from behind as this can make you look a lot shorter since the neck elongates the body.

Jewelry
Remember, using a single color from head to toe is very slimming. Jewelry is a great way to make a single colored outfit stand out and look great. The simpler the outfit, the more jewelry you can get away with. Balance is key. If you are wearing a large necklace, forgo the large earrings and wear smaller earrings instead and a large bracelet. A tiny bracelet on ample arms and hands, make your arms look bigger so keep it in balance by wearing a larger bracelet.

Purses/handbags
Pay attention to the length of the straps. If the strap causes a purse to fall right at your hip, it will draw attention to your hips. Straps that hang too low on the body will draw the eye down and make you look shorter. Purse shapes that are longer than they are wide are generally more flattering. Small purses make larger bodies look even bigger. Stay in proportion to your body.
