I wish to buy some some Grace Fibro Smile Sal free dental products. Are they available in Australia?

Phisoderm skin cleansing bar is described on your site as a bar but when I click on the link, I am taken to a liquid cleanser.  I'm looking for a sal-free non-scented soap bar.  Do you have any?

Do you sell or know of a salicylate free amino acid called l-glycine?

Would you happen to know if Got2Be spiked-up max-control gel is salicylate free?

Do you carry & sell Terrax Mousse for women's hair?

Where is the best place to purchase malic acid?

The Salicilyate free cosmetics web site is not working. It will not allow me to look at the products. Will this be fixed soon?

Looking for edible soap bubbles

Do you have salicylate Free Scar reduction products or can you tell me about one?

I'm sorry but I don't know if Grace dental products can be purchased in Australia. You could contact the company directly to find out if they have anyone who carries Grace products in Austrialia.

You can purchase Grace Products from the links at Web Shop Emporium for shipping to Australia. The products would be shipped from immunesupport.com.

Apparently drugstore.com re-directed the link when they were out of stock of the phisoderm. I checked and they are back in stock so I changed the link to reflect the correct product.

Phisoderm unscented bar soap

I contacted the company that makes a goat milk bar soap and verified that there are no fragrances what-so-ever added to their product. They verified that they do not add masking fragrance or fragrance of any kind to this product. It would be considered unscented although they don't advertise it that way. Here is the link to the product at Web Shop Emporium.
Goat milk bar soap - unscented
.

Unfortunately there are no other ready made unscented bars that are Sal-FreeTM. You may be interested in trying melt and pour soaps. You can easily make your own Sal-FreeTM, unscented soap bars. You buy bar soap that you melt in the microwave and pour into molds. There would be no mixing if you don't want fragrance or color.

I have located one salicylate free l-glycine supplement and 5 glycine supplement products for you. I have added them to the Web Shop Emporium Database. You can view them on these pages.

Web Shop Emporium lists Got2b Spiked-Up Styling Gel and it is salicylate free but we do not list Got2Be spiked-up max-control gel so I do not know the ingredients on that product.

We've checked all of our sources and I don't have any merchants that carry Terrax Mousse at this time so I cannot list it on Web Shop Emporium.

Just to explain, we do not carry products or ship them. We find products that meet special needs such as for those who want products where the company does not use animal testing or for those who want salicylate free or hypo-allergenic products and we list those in a convenient place for people to find. If a person purchases from our website, we receive a small commission. The fact that you went through our website to purchase does not mean that your price changes, it is the same price to you whether you buy through our site or not.

We often list special deals from our merchants in order to help you find a better price or special deal. You can find the link to the sales pages under the link to each product.

That said, I did search around to see if I could find anyone who sells the product you are asking about and I did find a few places that sell it. I have no relationship with these companies but am giving you the links for your convenience.

Malic Acid Products at Web Shop Emporium

12/16/2005
You can't see the products on Web Shop Emporium because you have ad blocking enabled. If you have Norton Internet security or a similar program on your system, you can remove ad blocking and you should be able to see all the products. If you have trouble figuring out how to do that, or if removing ad blocking does not work, I will be happy to work with you to fix the problem.

There are many sites that you won't be able to see completely as long as you have ad blocking enabled. I will be trying to resolve this problem for my users in the future without them having to change anything on their computer but for now, it is a problem and I apologize for any inconvenience it has caused.

I'm sorry to say that this is beyond my area of knowledge. I have spent some time looking but without a specific ingredient name I'm afraid it would take much more time and I'm fairly certain that I don't have any suppliers of this type of product.

To find Web Shop Emporium Lip products, please go to
Web Shop Emporium Cosmetic Search

Choose 'Sal-Free tm'
In the left box under 'Search by Category', choose 'Lips'

All lip products are listed in alphabetical order.  The product that would probably meet your needs the best is the 'Pure Lip Prevention' and it is on page 4.  Just go to the bottom of the page and choose page 4 once you have the 'lips' products showing.

Here are a few products for chapped lips and we continue to look and will add them to our database as we find them.

Pure-Lip Prevention
Even though this mentions cold sore solution it is simply a moisturizer with SPF and is used to prevent cold sores by keeping the lips moist. UVA/UVB SPF 7  Prevention is a daily moisturizer with non-whitening Zinc* that helps prevent dry and damaged lips. Prevention is a smooth, odorless ointment that is clear on the lips.

No SPF:
Aquaphor Healing Ointment 0.35 oz (10 g)
Daily Therapy For Dry, Cracked Skin. Helps Reduce Healing Time. From the makers of Eucerin® ~ Helps heal severely dry, cracked, chapped skin and lips. Dermatologist Recommended

No SPF:
Emu Oil
Said to be very useful for chapped lips - this is a plain oil but does not come in a convenient applicator for the lips.  You can also purchase it in capsule form.  You can use emu oil in making lip balms.

Shea Butter is Low-Sal
For further information see the entry at Web Shop Emporium.  It can be used alone for lips or can be used as a base for lip products.

We are in the process of making a page of supplies for making ones own lip balms.  I've made my own with emu oil, vit e, lanolin and beeswax and like it quite a lot.  I will be trying one with a different type of oil next time.

You may want to consider making your own:

Recuperat-ion, different brand OK 10-20-04
We received a request for recuperat-ion back in August at which time we wrote to the manufacturers to see if we could distribute the product in the U.S.. I have posted the results on the following page this page (see below):

Part of the response (as shown below) will tell you where to purchase recuperat-ion:

I received an initial response from the manufacturer. They stated that they are looking for a US distributor and they are in contact with some companies. They state that they have an FDA export register number but then go on to say that until they have an agreement (they don't state with whom) they will not be able to sell except through their website located at:

http://www.recuperat-ion.com/

I've written again to ask about a possible time frame for US availability and if Web Shop Emporium might be able to distribute their product. They have responded but did not give a time frame and cannot entertain discussions of distributors until they have completed negotiations that they are currently involved in.

You state that a different brand would be OK but unfortunately we are not in a position to know whether any other product would supply the benefits of recuperat-ion. My understanding is that the recuperat-ion formulation is proprietary so as far as we know, no one except the manufacturer would know if another product might be similar.

The Guai-Support Group website has a book recommendation for a book by Dr. Lendon Smith called 'Feed Your Body Right'. There is a section in the book called "The Taste Tests" which may help one determine their own specific mineral needs. You can find this book on Web Shop Emporium by going to the following page:

Web Shop Emporium Supplement Search

Go to the drop down box on the far right titled "Browse Products" and choose "Feed your body right". You may want to check out the link in the comments as there is a link there to a brief presentation on the Guai-Support Group website of the The Taste Tests.

We have been able to find quite a number of liquid ionic minerals that are easy to absorb. To look at them please go to:

Web Shop Emporium Supplement Search

Go to the drop down box in the middle titled "Search by Brand" and choose the brand called "WaterOz". All of the ionized liquid minerals will be shown.

Guaifenesin

10-7-04
We tried to e-mail the person who made this request but their e-mail was returned as undeliverable.

Please go to:
Web Shop Emporium Supplement Search

Click on the 'Sal-Free tm products only' circle to find salicylate free products.

Use the drop down box on the left of the page called 'Search By Category'. Choose 'guaifenesin' to pull up the list of guaifenesin products that we have available. The best deal for long acting that we list is for the mucinex brand guaifenesin at 35 cents per pill. The Pro Health long acting is 45 cents per pill at this time. Both long acting forms are 600 mg. The short acting Pro Health Guai FM 400 mg is about 13 cents per pill. This would make 600 mg of the short acting Guai FM cost about 19 cents compared to the lowest price of the long acting 600 mg of 35 cents.

If you don't find what you need from Web Shop Emporium, please check this comprehensive resource for information and sources of guaifenesin:
Guai-Support Guaifenesin sources page

You may want to consider having a compounding pharmacist make guaifenesin to your specifications.  The GuaiCycling MarketPlacetm lists a compounding pharmacist in Australia (for those in Australia only as they cannot export) or you should be able to find one in your area.

Sal-Free tm Lacriserts - sterile ophthamalic inserts

9/9/04
Lacriserts is a prescription product for dry eyes which appears to contain only one ingredient (stated in the following link) that is sal-free tm.  Please read the following if you are interested in lacriserts:
http://www.merck.com/product/usa/pi_circulars/l/lacrisert/lacrisert_uspc_pi.pdf
We are unable to list this particular product because the manufacturer uses animal testing when it is not required by law and we don't list cosmetics or supplements made by company's who use animal testing under those circumstances.

My own eye doctor prescribed an Allergan product for my dry eye problem.  I contacted Allergan and they informed me that they don't test on animals.  I found many products that they make for dry eyes which I added to the supplement pages.  I also found a product made by Akwa and some by Bausch and Lomb which we've listed.  We will be looking for more products and will add them as we find them.

Please go to Web Shop Emporium supplements and click on the "Sal-freetm" button so that only Sal-Freetm products will be listed. Go to the left hand box "Search for Category" and scroll down to "Eyes".

PLEASE NOTE:
We may be forced to remove Allergan products in the near future.  We noticed that many sites claim that Allergan uses animal testing so just to be sure, we called the company again to verify that they do not employ animal testing except when required by law.  They sent us to a pre-recorded statement which does not make it clear whether they use animal testing that is not required by law or not.  We have been unable to talk to anyone at the company who will answer our questions.  They are sending us a written statement in the mail but we suspect it will be the same statement that we received in their pre-recorded phone message and via e-mail.  We have written a letter to the president of their company asking him to please clarify their policy for us.  If we do not receive a response in a reasonable amount of time we will assume that they use animal testing that is not required by law and we will remove their products from Web Shop Emporium.  Hopefully that won't be necessary but we find that when a company refuses to clarify their policy, we are left with no choice but to assume the worst.

Update Note regarding Animal Testing for Allergan and Bausch & Lomb:
Allergan
We had a several eye drops listed for Allergan because when we called their offices they stated that they did not use animal testing.  Later, after seeing their name on several lists of animal testers we decided to investigate further.  After several more phone calls we got a letter from them that was very carefully worded but did not answer our question about animal testing not required by law.  We then wrote to the president of their company, explaining exactly what we wanted to know and telling him that if they only test as required by law, they could be removed from several lists as animal testers.  This all occurred back in Sept of '04.  We have never received a response and we feel that it is reasonable to assume that they do use animal testing that is not required by law so we are removing any products of theirs and will not be listing any of their products until they no longer test on animals unless required by law.

Bausch & Lomb
They sent a letter that states that they do use animal testing and it seems clear in their letter that they use animal testing even when not required by law.

US Distributor for Recuperat-ion

8-24-04
Sorry to say that Alfred Blasi did not respond to a request for information (I suspect he has nothing to do with the distribution of the product) however I received an initial response from the manufacturer.

Once you are on their site (above) you can look on the left hand side and choose English. Try this site to convert from euro to US dollars.

Hagen Phosphate test kit or any brand phosphate kit

We have found an Aquarium (water) phosphate test kit that is made by Nutrafin. It measures phosphates using the same 0.00-5.00 PPM parameters as the hagen test kit and should work the same as the Hagen kit. You can find the kit on WSE (Web Shop Emporium) at the following locations:
http://www.webshopemporium.com/sal-free.htm
look at the far left grey side panel, for the phosphate test kit.
AND
http://www.webshopemporium.com/databfiles/DataBSupplementSearch.asp
select "sal-free tm products only" go to the left search box and select the category "test kits" .

This link gives instructions on how to use the test kits for testing phosphates in urine rather than in water.

Tom's of Maine-fennel flavor toothpaste for sensitive teeth or any other brand of Sal-Freetm toothpaste for sensitive teeth

 5-21-04
Tom's of Maine advises us that they discontinued this product in November of 2003 due to lack of sales.  None of our suppliers have this product in stock but the following website checked their inventories and they still have some in stock as of 5-20-04.  They have a 1-800 number so you may want to contact them if you are interested in purchasing from them.
http://store.gwbeauty.com/077326198049.html

Tom's of Maine has a product idea suggestion page that you may want to utilize to request that they make a salicylate free toothpaste for sensitive teeth.
Tom's of Maine product suggestion page

We will continue to look for other sal-freetm toothpaste for sensitive teeth but we are not sure that such a product is available in a salicylate free version.  We contacted Rembrandt because they make several toothpastes for sensitive teeth but all of their toothpaste contains mint.  We also contacted a company that makes MSM toothpaste but it contains ingredients that are not Sal-Freetm.  We will continue to look and if we find anything we will update this page and put the links on our website.

 Guaifenesin

For comprehensive information about the availability of guaifenesin please see the Guai-Support Guaifenesin sources page.  You may want to consider having a compounding pharmacist  make a long acting guaifenesin for you which requires a prescription from your doctor.  For a compounding pharmacist see the GuaiCycling MarketPlace or find one in your local area. Mucinex makes a combination long acting/short acting that is sold over the counter and can be found from several sources at Web Shop Emporium supplements, look under "Search by Category", scroll down to "guaifenesin".  There are also short acting forms of guaifenesin that can be purchased at Web Shop Emporium supplements or from sources at the other links above.

Sal-Freetm (Salicylate Free) lotion, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, liquid hand soap, bar soaps and body spray in matching fun scents. Also a sal-freetm massage lotion.

We have not been able to find matching scents in the range of commercially made products requested but we were able to find sal-freetm bases, fragrances and colors which will allow you to purchase a base and simply add your preference of fragrance and color.  You will be able to easily create an inexpensive custom set of products.  This is a craft typically referred to as "melt and pour".   For information please see: Sal-Freetm Soap bases, colors and fragrances.

For fun fragrances of pre-made sal-freetm shower gel, shampoo and bubble bath please check the Web Shop Emporium cosmetic page, check the option for sal-freetm, then choose the brand "philosophy". We are in the process of researching some of the body sprays in scents that match the philosophy soap products.

We have found 3 massage products, 1 is emu oil and the other 2 are personal lubricants that the manufacturer states will make great massage lotions.  Please go to the Web Shop Emporium cosmetic page or Web Shop Emporium Supplement page, check the option for sal-freetm, then choose the category "massage".

 Humibid LA (Guaifenesin)

For the latest information on humibid and the FDA, read the March 12,2004 entry under All The News Re The Loss of LA Guai which states that the FDA will no longer allow humibid LA to be sold.  Current options for long acting guaifenesin are: A compounding pharmacist can make it for you with a prescription from your doctor.  For a compounding pharmacist see the GuaiCycling MarketPlace or find one in your local area. OR Mucinex makes a combination long acting/short acting that is sold over the counter and can be found at Web Shop Emporium supplements, look under "Search by Category", guaifenesin.  There are also short acting forms of guaifenesin that can be purchased from both of the places mentioned above or for other options, please see Guaifenesin Sources

Sal-Freetm sunscreen
for adults and children

We currently have 17 sal-freetm sunscreen products.  Please go to Web Shop Emporium Cosmetics and click on the "Sal-freetm" button so that only Sal-Freetm products will be listed. Go to the left hand box "Search for Category" and scroll down to "Sun Screen".  Update:  We've added another 3 sunscreens and will continue to add them as we find them.  Warning: do not use the B. Kamins Chemist brand sunscreen.  They add Bio-Maple to all of their products and according to their chemist it is a whole tree sap.

We will be adding more products as fast as we can find them.  Sunscreens are in a special class because they are considered medicinal, similar to toothpaste so if you find your own, be sure to contact the manufacturer and verify that you know all of the ingredients in the product.
